I had the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of product design, including user experience design, industrial design, environmental design and advertising.

I worked on the conceptualisation and development of innovative furniture designs tailored to withstand the rigorous demands of educational environments.
This included selecting materials, refining structural elements and ensuring that each piece met both aesthetic, ergonomic and durability standards.

Other projects involved upgrading the visual appeal and user experience of existing products.
We aimed to create a modern and cohesive look across the product line. Aligning with contemporary design trends while ensuring that the furniture blended seamlessly into different educational environments.

I focused on understanding the needs and challenges faced by educational institutions, ensuring that the furniture designs were not only durable but also user-friendly.
This involved conducting research, gathering feedback from users and iterating on designs to improve the overall user experience.

Given the high-traffic nature of educational settings, durability was a key focus. We sought to improve the usability of existing products by incorporating new features and design elements that better catered to the needs of students and educators.
This included ergonomic adjustments, modular designs and flexible configurations to support various learning styles and activities.

I also worked on creating harmonious environments. Integrating Roofer's furniture collections into customised educational spaces.
This involved designing layouts that optimised space usage, promoted collaborative learning and maintained a visually appealing atmosphere.

In realisation to advertising, I worked on graphics for the website, social media and print. Marketing new products.
One such a project was the creation of a digital space and accompanied banner for the landing page and email marketing. By clicking on this banner, you'd go into a digital environment that showcased the new products of Roofer that I worked on.

Throughout the internship, I collaborated closely with Roofer’s design team. Taking ideas from initial research and ideation stages through to concept development and production. My work not only provided valuable contributions to Roofer’s product lineup but also expanded my knowledge in the field of sustainable and ergonomic product design for educational settings.
